Silos
Fast
loading silo
The
fast loading silos are used mainly for loading of
bulk grain.
They
are widely used with storage installations where the
maximum reduction of the truck loading time is
desired.
When
the installation is stopped, the grain is loaded
into the fast loading silo with a capacity which
depends on the transportation systems. Depending on
the needs, the trucks are loaded with capacity from
150 to 300 tonnes per hour.
Flat-bottomed silos
The
cylinder consists of panels from corrugated iron
sheet, made from zinc-plated structural steel
FeE350G “Sendzimir” 350 g/m2, which guarantees the
longstanding endurance to atmospheric influences.
The
structure is strengthened from the outside with
vertical steel beams, bent under pressure, with
varying thickness and section. The fixing of the
iron sheet and the vertical beams is carried out by
means of bolts with higher mechanical strength,
treated against corrosion according to the
“Dactomet” method.
The
placing of plastic sealing, which does not change
its features in time, allows for the avoidance of
water penetration into the iron sheet joints.
The roof consists of trapezoid elements from
zinc-plated steel with strengthened structure, which
can withstand the snow weight and the systems of
transportation of transition bridges. The roof has a
slope of 25º and 30º and is raised in comparison to
the cylinder with about 40 mm in order to allow the
convective circulation of air to decrease the
formation of condensation.
